We're looking for a relationship-focused Customer Account Manager to help customers find the right solutions, manage opportunities, and build long-term partnerships. We're looking for a relationship-focused Customer Account Manager to help customers find the right solutions, manage opportunities, and build long-term partnerships. The Role The Customer Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the quoting and purchasing process. This is not a traditional high-pressure sales role. Most opportunities come from inbound inquiries, existing customers, referrals, and marketing efforts. Success comes from building relationships, understanding customer needs, staying organized, and providing an outstanding customer experience. Externally, this position will operate as a Sales & Account Manager, helping customers with product recommendations, quotes, and purchasing decisions. Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels Build and maintain strong customer and reseller relationships Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions Prepare quotes and proposals Follow up on open opportunities and customer requests Identify opportunities for account growth and additional products Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to support customer needs Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within company systems Facilitate a smooth handoff of booked orders to Operations Gather customer feedback and help improve the overall customer experience Qualifications Experience in account management, customer service, sales support, project coordination, or a similar customer-facing role Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business software Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented B2B experience is preferred but not required.
