Job Opportunity GENERAL MECHANIC 'C' - Cookie Department Schedule: NO Crew (6:45pm - 7:15am, 4 days per week and every other weekend) Responsibilities The General Mechanic 'C' position, which reports to the Maintenance Leader, provides technical support to Plant Operations. Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and repair computer-integrated, high-speed food processing/packaging equipment. Engage in on-the-job training and classroom instruction as part of the Denver\'s Mechanic Developmental Program (participation in other apprenticeship programs or related courses may apply). Qualifications Associate's Degree in a related Technical Field OR a High school diploma/GED with a vocational/technical focus (training in Industrial Technology or related field preferred); 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. Prior industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. Outstanding mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Flexibility to work all shifts and complete coursework. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to complete the Mechanic Developmental Program as described above. Final candidate selection will be based on the absence of a current documented attendance phase, ability to perform the job, prior work experience and educational background, and other bona fide occupational qualifications.
