Overview :

The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
• Answer multi-line phones, schedule and confirm appointments
• Check patients in effectively, verify insurance eligibility and collect copays/payments
• Maintain and update patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding prescriptions for, and/or ordering of contact lenses
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with other providers' offices
• Keep the front office and waiting area organized and running smoothly
• Assist with basic administrative tasks (faxing, scanning, filing, mail) and provide support in other areas of the office as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
