Let's fuel the future together!What We Are Looking ForSIRE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our team. The Maintenance Technician supports SIRE's operations by performing preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on critical machinery and equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyor systems, tools, and production assets. This role applies technical expertise to interpret diagrams, manuals, and specifications while troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions at an advanced level. Takes ownership and responsibility for the health of the assets and the success of the plant. This position will have on-call responsibilities.This position works closely with other departments to ensure SIRE continues to operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry and regulatory standards.Essential Job Responsibilities and DutiesMaintenance & Repair: Independently troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul machinery to manufacturer specs, including pumps and equipmentPreventative Care: Perform routine PM checks (e.g., vibration detection) and maintain clean, organized workspaces and electrical roomsWelding & Fabrication: Execute precision welding using TIG, MIG, and STICK techniquesDocumentation & Systems: Log labor, tasks, and parts in CMMS software; maintain accurate equipment documentation and change logsInventory & Logistics: Manage tool inventory, submit requisitions, and adhere to company inventory control policiesSafety & Compliance: Execute all tasks in strict accordance with safety regulations and LOTO (Lock-out/Tag-out) proceduresCollaboration: Coordinate with production teams on job specifics and participate in a rotational on-call scheduleOther duties as assigned to accomplish the safe and timely day-to-day operations within the plant.Qualifications· High School Diploma or GED required· 4 years' work experience in heavy industrial maintenance· Valid driver's license· High proficiency in industrial maintenance activities· Strong written and verbal communication skills· Ability to competently perform processing procedures including CMMS data entry requirements· Extensive safety knowledge related to tools and machinery· Ability to work well with others and the ability to work independently· Basic IT knowledgeCompensation, Benefits & Career GrowthSIRE offers one of the most competitive compensation packages (salary and bonus) as well as a comprehensive, family-friendly benefits package designed to support employees and their families including:· UP to $2,500 in new employee sign on bonuses· Exceptional family medical, dental, and vision benefits (includes a 100% company paid premium option for medical & $0-copay telehealth)· HSA and FSA options, with up to $1,000 annual company match· Quarterly bonuses up to 15%· Paid time off (PTO) accrual starting day one (up to 3 weeks in year one)· 9 paid holidays· Exceptional 401k fund contributions (up to 6%)· Short- and long-term disability and life insurance· Paid parental and bereavement leave· Training, skill-based pay increases, and career development· Strong culture with events, appreciation, and SIRE swag· Clear opportunities for long-term career growthWe don't just build renewable energy — we build a team people want to be part of.If you want a workplace where your work matters, your voice is heard, and your values are respected, you'll feel at home at SIRE.
