Ensures all care is delivered in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, professional guidelines, and organizational policies. Provides clinical oversight and direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Fitness Specialists, Massage Therapists, occupational therapy (OT)/occupational therapy assistant (OTA) students, and volunteers as appropriate. A licensed Occupational Therapist may supervise only one permittee at any given time, per regulatory requirements.
