Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Norristown, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a Per Diem assignment from September 8th to 10th in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This role requires working the first shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday.

Responsibilities include entering patient information and prescription orders into the computer system, assisting in the dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, and managing OTC inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. The technician will also greet and assist customers thoughtfully while addressing any concerns, and work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues to enable smooth prescription processing.

Desired qualifications and experience:

Active and clear pharmacy technician license in Pennsylvania
Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred

Schedule/Hours:

Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
