Manufacturing Test Engineer

Description: As a Test Engineer with Fluke Electronics, you will be tasked with analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for calibration/test of new and existing products. You will be a major contributor to and owner of key performance indicators in Operations, including: 5S/Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. You will be empowered to make decisions, drive improvements, and have plenty of opportunities for career growth.Responsibilities:Support, maintain and improve test systems throughout the factoryDrive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasure of failuresDevelop and implement lean manufacturing practices to drive internal and external metrics (quality, cost, innovation)Identify and drive cost saving opportunities through redesign and supplier relationshipsAdvise design engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities and standard practices to contribute to the development of new designs Specify all hardware requirements for tests systems. Implement design changes for per product requirementsReview test results and analyze test data from database and improve yields.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience. Good understanding manufacturing principles. Ability to handle high pressures, prioritize workload and understand impact of duties required. Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals.
