Job Title: Student Assistant 2-Waterman Horticulture and ENR Department: FAES | Waterman Farm-JM Responsibilities: Help with planning, planting, maintenance, and harvest of research plots and Hope Garden. Coordinate work and assist Manager with tasks at Waterman. Assist participants in harvesting vegetables during picking sessions. Work outside in all weather conditions, pull weeds, move mulch, and prepare to use agricultural equipment. Provide excellent customer service and work in a professional environment. Coordinate activities for other student employees. Qualifications: Previous experience or knowledge in a student assistant role. Strong organizational skills and good judgment. Ability to work outdoors in all weather, participate in physical activities. Knowledge of safe operation of agricultural equipment. Integrity and adherence to OSU mission and shared values. Location: Waterman - Laboratory Headquarters (0179) Position Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Scheduled Hours: 20 Shift: Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
