We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Service Counselor to guide families though one of the most meaningful decisions they will ever make planning for their final arrangements. Our counselors provide both pre-need (advance planning) and at-need (immediate) support, educating families about their options while ensuring every detail is handled with care, professionalism, and dignity.

Location: Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Earning Potential


This position is hourly guarantee, uncapped commissions with unlimited earning potential, supported by an established brand and a steady flow of leads.

• 1 st Year Expected Earnings: $40,000 - $60,000
• Top Performers Earn: $150,000 - $250,000+ annually

Actual earnings depend on individual effort, sales performance, and lead volume.


What You'll Do

• Educating families about the benefits of pre-planning funeral and cemetery arrangements
• Meet with at-need families (partnering with a licensed funeral director) to assist with service and cemetery selections.
• Conduct follow-up calls, outreach, and relationship building within the community
• Maintain accurate records and manage your sales pipeline
• Represent the funeral home and cemetery with empathy, integrity, and professionalism - Honesty, Integrity, and Service Excellence are at the heart of all we do
• Participate in community events, presentations, and workshops
• Work collaboratively with Family Service, Funeral Directors, Cemetery Grounds, and Leadership Teams

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and service-minded
• Closer mindset self-starter, prospecting, and teamwork.
• Coachable, goal-oriented, and motivated by both mission and results
• Strong communicator with the ability to guide families through sensitive decisions
• Organized and able to work independently
• Comfortable with a consultative sales environment
• Ability to make daily outbound calls, schedule appointments, and accurately maintain data in our CRM. Proactively generated leads through phone outreach, park ranging, door-to-door canvassing, community events, seminars, and lunch-and-learning programs using company-provided resources.
• Prior sales experience is helpful but not required we provide training
• May require the possession (or ability to obtain) an insurance license as required by applicable law
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual speaking a plus
