The Opportunity

You will serve as a premier field technical expert for Montana's oldest window and glass dealer, protecting customer investments across high-end homes. You will independently diagnose, repair, and restore complex residential window and door systems while delivering an exceptional service experience to homeowners. Operating with autonomy and backed by complete company support, you will play a vital role in upholding a 90-plus-year reputation for craftsmanship.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Diagnose complex hardware, glazing, operation, and water-management issues affecting premium residential window and door installations.
• Replace insulated glass units, multipoint hardware systems, weather-sealing, and operational components cleanly and accurately.
• Correct alignment, squareness, and seal compression across swinging, sliding, folding, casement, and custom operating window and door systems.
• Perform detailed field inspections, record precise measurements, and document required parts and root-cause findings electronically.
• Partner with project managers and manufacturing partners to resolve technical product or warranty claims efficiently.
• Maintain clean work zones and safeguard high-end residential finishes, including wood, stone, flooring, and surrounding interior surfaces.
• Mentor junior field technicians on advanced repair procedures, safe glass-handling protocols, and professional client communication.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, repairing, or installing residential window and door products.
• Advanced technical capability in replacing insulated glass units and safely maneuvering heavy or oversized glass.
• Deep knowledge of residential window and door hardware mechanisms, sealants, weatherstripping, and water-management principles.
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading architectural drawings, product detail prints, shop drawings, and technical service manuals.
• Proven track record of operating independently in finished homes while protecting surrounding finishes and maintaining high jobsite standards.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 5 or more years of dedicated residential window and door service experience.
• Direct manufacturer training or hands-on experience with luxury clad-wood, aluminum, European-style, or large-format lift-and-slide door systems.
• Valid OSHA, lift, forklift, or fall-protection safety certifications.
