Description

• Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work side by side with nurses, doctors, case managers, and therapy professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Instruct patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, developing discharge plans, and home exercise regimens
• Record evaluations, treatments, and progress meticulously according to both facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to foster integrated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapy Specialist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications such as geriatric or neurological are advantageous, but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage patients with complex medical and mobility challenges
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with digital charting systems and clinical documentation
