Commercial Director - Off Highway/Commercial Vehicle

The Commercial Director will own the North American commercial growth strategy across Off Highway, Commercial Vehicle and Passenger Vehicle OEM markets. Our client is an international market leader in mechanical applications for the Off Highway, Commercial Vehicle and Passenger Vehicle OEM Markets. They have a US entity and you will be one of their early US hires focused on building out the commercial vision. Description Set commercial priorities for the Sales department and align activities with business goals. Develop sales plans that support revenue targets and customer needs. Prioritize different stages of build out plans between strategy, sales, business development, hiring and more. Build and maintain relationships with customers to strengthen commercial results. Ideal fit is not afraid to work directly with customers. Hire, onboard, manage and train a sales team. Review sales performance and use findings to guide business decisions. Identify new sales opportunities and help expand the company's customer base. Work with internal teams to coordinate commercial activity and customer commitments. Present commercial updates, priorities, and results to relevant stakeholders. Profile A successful Commercial Director should have: Experience leading commercial and sales activities. Experience developing sales plans and tracking performance against business goals. Experience with Pricing, Costs and managing a full P&L. Experience hiring, training and leading a team. Experience setting Key Performance Indicators for successful sales team. Ability to build out sales processes, goals, and enablement. Experience building customer relationships and identifying sales opportunities. Experience in both sales and business development. Ability to review commercial information and turn findings into clear actions. Ability to communicate commercial priorities and results with stakeholders. Experience working across teams to meet customer commitments.
