The USF College of Nursing is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track Instructor I to join its clinical/teaching faculty. The primary focus is undergraduate instruction, with responsibilities that may include graduate-level teaching, mentoring students, serving on committees, participating in community engagement, and acting as a liaison with clinical sites (which may require travel). Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor. Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree. Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.

• a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• c) Six years of direct experience for a master's degree;
• d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
• e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree

Additional Minimum Qualifications: Must hold, or be eligible for, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Florida by the start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Instructor I (non-tenure earning). Minimum of two years of direct patient care clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD). Minimum of three years of classroom and clinical teaching experience. A broad range of clinical knowledge and expertise in various settings or specialty areas. Local, state, or national leadership in a nursing professional organization. Strong communication and technology skills, and experience in curriculum design and evaluation of program outcomes.
