Schedule Engineer - Project Controls

Position Summary: Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to join the Infra Technology Construction Department focused on a multi-billion new build semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, TX. This senior individual contributor is responsible for managing the integrated master schedule for our portfolio of projects from project initiation through commissioning and tool‑move‑in. The role drives schedule predictability and provides organizational leadership across multiple layers of construction and operations partners. Role and Responsibilities Here’s what you’ll be responsible for: Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, maintains, and communicates integrated plans and schedules for multiple highly complex projects. Produce weekly executive reports that provide high‑level trend analysis, KPI updates, and identification of risks and opportunities related to project and program level schedule management. Ensures contractors follow best schedule practices and are compliant with contractual requirements. Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and Forensic Delay Analysis. Perform audits on invoices, schedules, and documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Collaborate with General Contractor’s site leadership to identify areas of concern and opportunities related to schedule. Utilize strong leadership skills to align stakeholders across site departments, including EHS, facilities, manufacturing, and engineering organizations, to meet goals. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience as a scheduler on large industrial construction projects (Semiconductor fab experience preferred but not required). Primavera P6 Master User (System / Enterprise Administrator). Ability to read and understand construction documents including design documents, shop drawings, bid forms, and contracts. 4‑year degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a closely related field. Compensation and Benefits The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
