Behavior Technician – Behavior Genius About the Role As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and adolescents, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA. You will use positive reinforcement and data‑driven techniques to help clients achieve developmental goals in home, community and school settings. Responsibilities Provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles to children with autism and related developmental disabilities. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements. Teach communication, social and self‑care skills to children ages 2-18 years. Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior. Implement behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as directed by the BCBA. Use safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Work location: client homes throughout the Inland Empire, treatment center in Ontario, CA, and may require travel up to 30 miles. Passion for working with children and making a difference. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow structured treatment plans while thinking on your feet. Reliable transportation for client sessions. Previous experience in ABA, childcare, education, or healthcare is a plus but not required – paid training provided. Availability Minimum 10 hours per week within one of the following time slots: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Employees must be able to work the full 10‑hour requirement within a single slot, though they may have additional slots available.
