Audit Manager

Office Location(s): Birmingham, AL / Huntsville, AL / Montgomery, AL Remote/Hybrid (Must live within Alabama) We're seeking an Audit Manager to join our client's nationally recognized, well established CPA and advisory firm. The firm has built its reputation over nearly a century on client first service, team development, and a culture that genuinely invests in its staff's growth. The audit and assurance practice is one of the fastest growing areas right now, so this role comes with real responsibility, hands on learning, and a clear path forward. Key Responsibilities: Execute audit and assurance engagement activities in a manner that meets client expectations and firm quality standards Communicate with Directors and Managers throughout all phases of engagements, including planning, scheduling, and client interactions Manage workload with a sense of urgency to meet both internal and client deadlines accurately and diligently Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced environment where increased responsibility is both offered and expected as you grow with the firm Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university Active CPA license required (5–7) years of public accounting experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical abilities, good judgment, and professional skepticism Ability to work effectively with colleagues, staff, and clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software This is a strong opportunity for an experienced audit professional looking to step into a leadership role within a growing practice at a firm that genuinely invests in its people.
