Research Leader / Senior Scientist (Computational Drug Design), Cambridge, MA

Isomorphic Labs seeks a Research Leader or Senior Scientist in computational drug design to provide scientific expertise and strategic direction for drug discovery projects. The role combines computational chemistry leadership with AI platform enhancement, working at the intersection of machine learning and rational drug design.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific leadership and strategic direction for portfolio drug discovery programs
- Guide projects from early stage through clinical candidate selection
- Enhance the computational drug design platform using technical expertise
- Partner with machine learning scientists to refine algorithms and models
- Apply innovative computational approaches to design novel molecules
Requirements
- Advanced degree in computational chemistry, chemistry, or related field
- Extensive experience in computational drug design and molecular modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in applying computational methods to drug discovery projects
- Strong understanding of machine learning applications in chemistry
- Ability to think critically and innovate in complex scientific environments
- Experience guiding projects from initiation through candidate selection
- Collaborative mindset with cross-functional team engagement
