We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented team.Job Location: Columbus, OHJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Spring Framework to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean code, robust architecture, and delivering high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Design RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications and third-party services.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, QA, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.Implement security and data protection best practices.Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in Java (Java 8).Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Familiarity with version control systems (Git).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization.Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).Exposure to test-driven development (TDD).Understanding of DevOps practices.Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
