Role Description The Real Estate Agent role is a full-time position based in New Bern, NC. Responsibilities include representing buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions, conducting property showings, hosting open houses, preparing listing presentations, and advising clients on market conditions and pricing. The Real Estate Agent will manage the full transaction process, including drafting and reviewing contracts, coordinating inspections and appraisals, and working closely with lenders, attorneys, and other professionals to facilitate smooth closings. Daily activities also involve prospecting for new clients, maintaining regular communication with existing clients, updating listings in the MLS, and staying informed about local market trends, regulations, and community developments. The role requires consistent in-person engagement with clients, team members, and local partners to build strong relationships and support business growth. Qualifications Active Real Estate License and a solid understanding of Real Property principles and practices. Experience in Real Estate transactions, including listing, buying, and leasing residential properties. Strong Sales skills with a proven ability to generate leads, negotiate effectively, and close deals. Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, listen carefully, and communicate clearly with diverse clients. Knowledge of the Greenville, NC and greater New Bern area markets, or willingness to quickly develop local market expertise. Comfort with using MLS systems, CRM tools, email, and basic productivity software to manage listings and client communication. Ability to work on-site, manage a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends, and reliably travel to properties and client meetings. High level of professionalism, ethical standards, and compliance with all state and local real estate regulations.
