Marketing Coordinator

Markman's Diamond - Knoxville, TN|Full-Time|In-Person|Salary, Exempt About the Role Markman's Diamond is seeking a Marketing & Advertising Coordinator to manage and execute our offline marketing efforts across the Knoxville and Chattanooga market, along with oversight of our website and SEO performance. This role is responsible for planning, buying, and tracking traditional and localized advertising channels that drive foot traffic and brand awareness - including TV, radio, print/magazine, billboards, co-op advertising, geo-fencing, and other paid media placements - while also managing website content and search engine optimization to strengthen our online presence. This is an in-person, full-time position based at our Knoxville location. Key Responsibilities Plan, negotiate, and manage co-op advertising agreements with vendors and partners Coordinate TV and radio ad buys, including scheduling, creative delivery, and performance tracking Manage print and magazine advertising placements, deadlines, and proofs Oversee billboard and out-of-home (OOH) advertising selection and rotation Execute geo-fencing and location-based paid advertising campaigns Manage additional paid advertising channels as assigned Manage website content updates and overall site performance Own SEO strategy, including keyword optimization, local search rankings, and site audits Track and report on campaign performance, budget spend, and ROI across all channels Coordinate with creative/design resources to ensure ads are on-brand and delivered on schedule Build and maintain relationships with media reps, vendors, and advertising partners Monitor local market trends and competitor advertising activity across Knoxville and Chattanooga Assist with budget planning and forecasting for traditional marketing spend Support the marketing team with event planning and coordination as needed Assist with photoshoot logistics and coordination as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred Experience in traditional media buying/planning (co-op, TV, radio, print, OOH) preferred Familiarity with geo-fencing or other location-based digital advertising a plus Experience with website content management (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) and SEO best practices preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong budget-tracking and reporting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel Retail or jewelry industry experience a plus, but not required Salary range: $50,000-$75,000, commensurate with education and experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
