Conduct comprehensive assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using both standardized tests and observation methods.

Create tailored therapy plans that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, swallowing, and cognitive objectives.

Implement individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on aspects like language development, fluency, and swallowing issues.

Work collaboratively with a team that includes occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to ensure well-rounded care.

Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress during sessions and at home.

Participate in inpatient assessments and speech therapy as needed, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity in care.

Document patient information accurately and promptly following all guidelines set forth by state, federal, and company policies.

Commit to professional growth through continuing education and active collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in the event of lacking ASHA certification.

State licensure for practicing as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) by ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to be completed within the first month of employment.

Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices across various age groups, alongside an understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills enabling effective relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Flexibility to modify treatment methods to cater to a variety of cultural and linguistic needs.

Sound clinical reasoning abilities alongside strong problem-solving skills.

Competency in managing electronic medical records and maintaining documentation standards.
