Associate Wealth Advisor

Associate Wealth Advisor Focus Partners Wealth is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our planning‑centric team dedicated to creating personalized wealth advice based on each of our unique clients' goals and aspirations. The Associate Wealth Advisor partners closely with Wealth Advisors to maintain and enhance client relationships through active participation in the financial planning process. Responsibilities include creating and implementing strategies in retirement, risk management, tax, estate, and investment planning. Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule: 3 days in office per week and up to 2 remote days, or as assigned by the team leader. Primary Responsibilities Develop, revise, and present financial plans through planning software Apply knowledge of tax, estate, and insurance planning Master Focus Partners Wealth’s investment philosophy Create a holistic investment strategy for each client and monitor risk tolerance over time as needed Understand the fundamentals of trading and partner with the Portfolio Management team to approve and execute portfolios, trade recommendations, tax‑loss harvesting, etc. Master the technology stack, including CRM system and custodian websites Collaborate with other Associate Wealth Advisors (AWAs) Lead client communications and interactions independently Record client communication and information within the client relationship management platform Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for client needs and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest level of client service Complete client billing reviews and ensure compliance for the advisory team Engage in advisory team business planning efforts and actively support the firm’s strategic priorities Meet with clients in person; some travel may be required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Series 65 or equivalent within 120 days of employment At least 2 years of financial services experience Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑orientated approach Knowledge of financial industry, products, and planning concepts Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Clean U4 Compensation & Benefits This exempt position offers an annualized base pay range of $85,000 – $105,000 per year, varying by experience, expertise, location and skill set. Compensation may also include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
