Home Health RN Registered Nurse Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years home care experience required. License: Must have a nursing license. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Recent OASIS experience. - Experience with Pointcare/HCHB EMR. - Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Description: This position is for a Home Health RN. The role involves providing home health care services to patients. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent home care experience. Experience with Pointcare/HCHB EMR and OASIS is essential and non-negotiable. A nursing license is required. Traveling nurses should be prepared to float and cover different zip codes as needed. Mileage reimbursement from the first patient to the last patient of the day is available. Individuals must use their personal vehicles for patient visits. A reliable vehicle in good standing with all licensure and insurance requirements is expected. No weekend or call requirements are part of this role. Visitation types will correlate to a point system with a minimum of 6 points per day on average. This equals 30 points a week and translates to approximately 3 to 6 visits per day. Nurses may be assigned to a coverage area based on patient need and staffing availability. It is required to manage care for various conditions, including but not limited to CHF, diabetes, urinary catheters, and wound care. Candidates must be capable of performing tasks such as intravenous infusions, medication administration, and various assessments. Nurses are expected to complete clinical reviews and compliance requirements within specific timelines. All home care clinicians are expected to maintain high standards of care within their practice. Travelers must be comfortable proceeding without a guaranteed interview.
