Material Handler Job Details
Wed-Sat 5 am - 3:30 pm $18.40/hr
• Overtime possible, but not mandatory
Material Handler Requirements
• Able to stand and walk for up to an 10-hour shift
• Must be able to read and speak English
• 2 years warehouse, logistics or similar experience
•Certified or ability to attain certification in at least one powered mobile equipment
•High School Diploma or equivalent
• Steel Toe Boots or Shoes
About the Material Handler Role,
As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:
• Primarily use the Electric Pallet Jack-Picking Orders, possible Forklift if going perm in a few months
• Replenishes goods to self-serve area and sales floor - Selects goods for customers quickly, securely, and accurately in order to meet delivery and multichannel service standards
• Uses technology to manage inventory while following policies and procedures
• Handles goods with powered machinery such as forklift, powered pallet jack, etc.
• Cardboard baler - putting cardboard in the baler and pressing a button to compress
• Adheres strictly to safety and security standards and procedures
