Full Time 3pm-11pm Housekeeper/ Utility cleaner Weekends Required

Job Title Evening Housekeeper/Utility Cleaner Location HGI Hartford North Bradley-21123 Position Type Full‑time Responsibilities Work evening shift (3pm‑11pm). Cleans and maintains all public areas of the hotel, including guest rooms with late check‑outs, public restrooms, hallways, and stairwells. Clean public bathrooms, dust furniture and pictures, vacuum, sweep and mop floors. Empty all trash and dispose of soiled linen. Deliver items to rooms upon request and assist in cleaning as needed. Clean guest rooms on an as‑needed basis (early check‑out, guest complaint, room moves). Report necessary repairs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor on duty. Collaborate with other departments to promote teamwork and quality service. Assist with deep‑cleaning projects and other duties as assigned. Push or pull carts up to 50 pounds and handle items up to 75 pounds. Stand for the majority of the shift, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift 25–35 pounds when required. Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company standards; rooms are stocked with linens, towels, soap, tissues, and drinking glasses. Identify items left behind by guests and report them via the hotel’s lost‑and‑found procedures. Qualifications Minimum of high school education; post‑high school education is preferred. At least 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role. Ability to multi‑task effectively and communicate verbally and in writing. Team‑player with a strong customer‑service orientation. Knowledge of cleanliness standards and ability to exceed guest expectations. Physical capability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds. Benefits Daily pay.
