New Home Sales Assistant

For more than 35 years, Boone Homes has built semi-custom and luxury homes throughout the Richmond region, combining exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design, and a personalized homebuilding experience.

We are seeking a Full-Time Sales Assistant who enjoys meeting new people, initiates conversations, and brings enthusiasm to building relationships. If you are comfortable picking up the phone, asking thoughtful questions, and helping someone take the next step in their home search, we would like to meet you.

Working closely with a Community Manager, you will welcome prospective buyers, support consistent follow-up, and contribute to daily sales and marketing activities. Strong organization matters, but your ability to connect with people and keep conversations moving is essential.

What You’ll Do

• Make meaningful connections. Welcome prospective buyers and Realtors, learn about their needs, and create an inviting experience from the first interaction.
• Take initiative with outreach. Make regular outbound calls to prospective buyers and Realtors, reconnect with interested prospects, and help schedule appointments.
• Keep the conversation going. Follow up through calls, texts, emails, and personalized videos with relevant information and clear next steps.
• Introduce buyers to Boone Homes. Assist with model and available home tours and develop a working knowledge of our communities, floor plans, features, and building process.
• Support the sales team. Work under the Community Manager’s direction to coordinate appointments, provide model coverage, and assist with daily sales activities.
• Stay organized. Maintain accurate records in HubSpot, document conversations, and complete assigned follow-up tasks on time.
• Contribute to community marketing. Assist with MLS updates, sales materials, social media content, photos, videos, Realtor events, and open houses.
• Maintain a strong first impression. Help keep model homes, available homes, and sales centers welcoming and ready to show.

Qualifications

Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, real estate, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. Previous homebuilding experience is helpful but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HubSpot and other company platforms are expected.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position in Boone Homes’ Richmond-area communities. Regular weekend availability is required , with scheduled days off generally during the week. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between communities.

Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000

Base salary + commission compensation
