This is not a basic maintenance role.

You'll be responsible for maintaining highly automated production equipment while utilizing your skills in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, root cause analysis, and industrial maintenance troubleshooting.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in keeping the facility operating at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing preventative maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment

• Responding to equipment breakdowns and urgent production support calls

• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures

• Diagnosing equipment issues using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis methods

• Working with PLCs, controls, relays, sensors, motors, drives, and automated systems

• Identifying equipment anomalies and implementing corrective actions

• Supporting reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects

• Assisting with equipment rebuilds, modifications, and redesign efforts

• Creating and updating maintenance documentation and work instructions

• Operating fabrication equipment including:

• Lathes

• Mills

• Drill Presses

• Grinders

• Additional machine shop equipment

• Reading work orders, technical documentation, and maintenance instructions

• Maintaining compliance with safety regulations and manufacturing standards

• Partnering with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance

Required Qualifications

• LME-level experience, active or inactive license, or comparable industrial electrical maintenance experience

• Strong industrial maintenance troubleshooting skills

• Experience with:

• Hydraulics

• Pneumatics

• Electrical systems

• Industrial controls

• PLCs

• Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance

• Ability to effectively diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes

• Experience utilizing machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses

• Intermediate computer skills

• Basic mathematical abilities

• Ability to read and understand maintenance procedures, technical manuals, and safety documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Current LME Certification

• Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience

• Industrial automation experience

• Manufacturing maintenance experience

• Controls and instrumentation experience

• Experience supporting high-speed production equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.95 - $40.95/hr.
