Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse

Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse for a 13-week temp-to-perm contract in western Albuquerque, NM. The role involves coordinating patient care, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team. Compensation up to $2,850 per week based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care and workflow as the OR circulator
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile
• Assist surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout surgery and report changes
• Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia staff, scrub techs, and other team members

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact license)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification a plus
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR circulator experience
