Accounts Payable Representative

Position Overview The Accounts Payable Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the dealership’s payables process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with accounts payable in an automotive dealership setting, though similar experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and suppliers. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions. Assist with month‑end closing processes, including balancing accounts and preparing reports. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Manage communication with vendors regarding payment inquiries and account status. Back up to switchboard as needed. Qualifications Prior experience in Accounts Payable is required; experience in a dealership setting is a plus. Strong proficiency with a Dealership DMS or accounting software, Tekion is a plus! Knowledge in all Microsoft products. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities. Self‑motivated.
