About The Job The Xu Lab at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, is seeking a highly motivated and organized postdoctoral fellow. Our research focuses on understanding how transcriptome regulation and stability govern metabolic homeostasis. Focus Of Job Responsibilities 70% - Ongoing Research Participate in the design and implementation of hypothesis-driven research projects. Independently carry out the design and execution of experimental research required by the research component of the project. Develop connections with local and international researchers for collaboration work. 15% - Analysis & Review Conduct analysis and review of generated data and reviewing previously reported scientific literature. 15% - Scientific writing Write manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Write and review research papers, present research outcomes, conceptualize new ideas, and develop plans for independent research.
