Job Description: Crew Leader, Christmas Light Installation
Location: Ventura, CA

About Us:

At Brite Star Lighting, we specialize in creating festive displays that bring joy to homes during the holiday seasons. We are looking for a motivated Crew Leader to oversee the projects and guide a team of Light Installers. All candidates must be accustomed to working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of Light Installers, ensuring efficient and high-quality installation of decorations.
• Project Planning: Organize and assign tasks base on crew members’ strengths and project requirements.
• Installation Oversight: Oversee the installation process, ensuring safety protocols are followed and that the final displays meet design expectations.
• Training: Provide training and guidance to new crew members on installation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients during installations, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet the Company’s standards for quality and aesthetics.
• Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during installations, communicating back to the supervisor or finding quick and effective solutions to ensure project success.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing tool inventory and equipment, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for at each job and in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during the holiday season.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in outdoor installations or similar fields.
• Previous experience in light installation or a related field is a plus.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent mobility and agility for navigating high roofs and difficult positions.
• Ability to stand, climb, and kneel for extended periods.
