Strategic Business Planning Manager

Join the American Red Cross as a Sponsor Partnership Coordinator, responsible for leading blood drive programs and managing sponsor relationships in the Vancouver, Washington area and surrounding communities. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement annual and long-term sponsor partnership blood drive programs to achieve collection goals. Identify, develop, and implement creative strategies to attract, manage, and retain Blood Program Leaders and sponsor partnerships. Provide organizational and operational support to sponsor contacts and maintain high-level communication with all assigned Blood Program Leaders/Sponsors. Support the annual blood drive calendar by scheduling drives with assigned sponsors. Stay abreast of local demographics, government, and competitive landscape and apply that knowledge to service sponsor groups and market penetration. Maintain accurate system records and provide tracking and statistical data on sponsor group performance. Ensure tools, technology, and strategy are fit for purpose and identify opportunities for improvement. What You Need to Know Plan and execute effective strategies to maximize blood drive programs, manage sponsor partnerships, and utilize market knowledge to achieve established collection goals. Provide support, development, and guidance to all volunteers. What You Need to Succeed Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications, or related field required. Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management Experience: N/A Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills; strong organizational and multitasking skills; excellent oral and written communication, training and presentation skills; ability to work in a team and with internal/external partners; analytical skills for data analysis and goal setting; ability to implement programs; responsible for own transportation. Travel: Some travel may be required. *Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equal the minimum education and general experience years combined (management experience cannot be substituted).
