Description:

Coverage type includes Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00, with evening and weekend call.
Daytime hours would be on-site at one location, while call coverage is low volume.
There are dedicated interventional radiology suites, equipped with current technology.
The practice setting is a hospital, and the unit is not a high-volume trauma level facility.
Support staff consists of 24% physicians and 5% advanced practice providers.
Each site has radiology managers, technicians, and nurses available.
Procedures required include angiography, needle/catheter placements, and various biopsies.
Additional privileges may include ultrasound-guided biopsies and image-guided procedures.
The patient population primarily consists of adults.
The reason for the need is gaps in coverage with additional sites.
The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC.
The PACS system utilized is Change/McKesson.
Privileges are expected to take 45-60 days for full approval.
Temporary privileges can be requested during the urgent need, with a minimum one-week processing time.
