Job Description

The shipping and receiving position is responsible for multiple warehouse duties in a fast paced environment. Job responsibilities include verifications and record keeping of incoming and outgoing shipments by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Essential Functions

1. Ability to read and understand production orders and specification sheets to prepare pack slips, bill of lading, commercial/international paperwork accurately in a computerized system.
2. Operate stretch wrap banders and other necessary packaging equipment.
3. Identify errors and packaging defects and correct accordingly.
4. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
5. Knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping procedures as it correlates to our order processing system.
6. Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend and twist throughout the workday.
7. Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance regarding shipping, maintenance functions and other essential tasks as assigned.
8. Based on daily need, schedule truck lines and communicate essential information needed to ensure proper and timely deliveries.
9. Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.
10. Operate a baler/shredder for recycling product.

Required Education/Experience

• Two to three years of sit-down forklift experience.
• Computer skills.
• Multi-tasking and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with UPS/FedEx is a plus.

Shifts Available:

1st shift - Monday through Friday, 9 am-6 pm with overtime as needed. Starting rate of pay is $23.78 per hour, with potential to earn up to $26.28 per hour. Job is located in Hanover, PA.
