Registered Nurse (RN)Location: Nashville, TNUnit Information:Number of Beds: 34Patient Ratios: 6:1Staffing Description: Tech support available on both day and night shifts, with a unit secretary present from 7 AM to 7 PM.Equipment Used: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCDs, Continuous Pulse Oximeters, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanners, and iMobile communication technology.Documentation System: MeditechScheduling Requirements: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; two weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule.Floating Policy: Contract labor is the first to float, followed by rotation among staff when multiple contract staff are scheduled.Patient Experience Requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care, conduct bedside shift reports, and build personal connections with patients and family members.Qualifications:Requested Skill Set: Med/Surg experience, ability to prioritize care, multitasking, starting IVs, basic wound care, managing surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.Licensure: Active RN license required.Certifications: BLS certification required.Dress Code: Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) are required.Unit Guidelines and Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.Awards and Recognition: Please include any relevant awards, departmental recognitions, or links to videos that highlight the department.Additional Information: Consider highlighting items such as new equipment or technology, staff tenure and experience, and flexible scheduling options to entice potential candidates.Client Details Address: 3441 Dickerson Pike, State: TN, Zip Code: 37211
