Job Description The registered nurse provides home visits to women and their families enrolled in the Nurse Family Partnership Program. The RN will carry a caseload of up to 25 clients, utilizing nursing processes and clinical expertise to build therapeutic relationships, engage in motivational interviewing and mutual goal setting to assist high‑risk mothers in developing healthy plans for their families. The RN is accountable for the delivery of safe, quality care that is individualized for assigned clients and follows the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). The registered nurse accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. Responsibilities Provide home visits to enrolled women and families. Manage a caseload of up to 25 clients using nursing processes. Build therapeutic relationships and engage in motivational interviewing. Assist high‑risk mothers in developing and achieving healthy family plans. Deliver safe, individualized care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Participate in professional development activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school. Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in maternal/child health, public health, home health, or mental/behavioral nursing. Compensation Pay Range: $45.04 - $79.13. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
