Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Duties
Help
Perform difficult and complex diagnostic procedures.
Receive patients, explain method of procedure, position patient, select and set technical factors, set up and adjust accessory equipment, and make exposures necessary for the requested procedure.
Assist radiologists in performing specialized and invasive procedures.
Establish and maintain records of patient information using computer database, and maintain quality control documentation for accrediting and certifying entities.
Operate and maintain radiographic processors, monitor development temperatures, correct transport obstructions, and maintain replenishment levels of materials and supplies.
