Key Details

• Schedule/Hours:
  • Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • Floats as needed to similar units
  • Holidays: As needed
• Start Date: Within 2 weeks of offer

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent stroke/neuro experience required, 3 years preferred
• Current: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (to be presented at submission)
• Must pass EKG test
• Open to floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and proficient patient care in a stroke/neuro medical-surgical telemetry setting
• Actively participate in patient assessments, monitor neurological status, and respond effectively to acute changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document interventions and changes in patient status
• Adapt to unit needs and float to similar assignments, as necessary
