Prepares routine drafting projects, such as the preparation of various drawings of structures and equipment systems derived from layouts and sketches. Follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assists in design drafting. Consults with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards. Making modifications to existing designs or products, to improve them preform performance or to integrate new technology. Calculating various factors to ensure that the design will realistically be possible. Ensuring the intended product or structure will be safe, dependable and economically viable. Ability to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others. Ensure all OSHA regulated safety training is current. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and compiles with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.

1. Creating job specific schematics.

2. Creating 3D models for sales/marketing and company quality management system forms.

3. Creating manufacturing prints for fabrication.

4. Assumes personal responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

College degree with engineering discipline preferred.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred.
