Mid Level Automotive Technician - Plano, TX

General Description As a General Maintenance Technician, you will gain hands‑on experience diagnosing technical issues while delivering outstanding service. You will work with brakes, alignments, and other automotive systems in a rapidly changing industry, and you may be encouraged to advance quickly through training and performance. Responsibilities Perform line technician services, routine inspections, maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem‑solving. Conduct brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation. Provide excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback, and mentor junior technicians. Document all work performed on the repair order. Report any safety issues immediately to management. Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours. Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation. Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting. Basic Qualifications Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance. Valid driver’s license. At least 18 years of age. No relocation is being offered for this position. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. ASE Certification. Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests. Experience with electrical, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition systems.
