Key Qualifications:

• Current professional Texas RN or LVN license (required)
• Experience in K-12, pediatric, or school nursing settings highly valued
• Completion of state fingerprinting/background check prior to start
• Strong skills in feeding, toileting, and assisting with physical transfers
• Must not be a former employee or previously terminated from any school district
• Commitment to full-time hours (Monday–Friday, 8AM–4PM, 37.5 hours per week)
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to three high school students in need of regular support throughout the school day
• Perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, feeding assistance, toileting, and transferring students between positions
• Monitor and document students’ health status and response to care
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a safe, nurturing environment
• Maintain strict adherence to student privacy and all district policies
• Complete required paperwork and assist with relevant affidavits regarding district employment history
