Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable CPA Company to find their next Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist. This position is full-time, regular role located in Redding, CA. We are partnering with a reputable CPA firm that is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, providing hands-on support across bookkeeping, payroll, and basic tax preparation. Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or similar role Experience with payroll processing Familiarity with 1040 tax preparation is preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Experience with tax software is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance Handle accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card statements Assist with preparation of individual tax returns (1040s) Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
