Operations Supervisor – Warehouse / Production
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually DOE
Location: Fresno, CA
Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for employee performance, productivity, safety, quality, staffing, and overall shift execution.

The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who is comfortable managing employees, addressing operational issues in real time, and holding teams accountable for meeting daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide daily direction to warehouse and production employees
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet daily production requirements
• Monitor productivity, attendance, employee performance, and operational KPIs
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, safety expectations, and priorities
• Monitor conveyor, sorting, stacking, palletizing, washing, and material-handling operations
• Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action as needed
• Partner with maintenance teams when equipment or production-line issues occur
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Train, coach, and develop employees while addressing performance concerns when necessary
• Assist with new-hire onboarding and training
• Complete production, staffing, safety, and operational reports
• Monitor labor utilization and overtime
• Investigate safety incidents, quality concerns, and operational issues
• Communicate staffing, production, equipment, and performance updates to management
• Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, production, distribution, recycling, food processing, or a similar high-volume environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience managing hourly warehouse or production employees
• Proven ability to successfully lead teams in a fast-paced, labor-intensive operation
• Experience managing productivity, staffing, safety, quality, and daily operational performance
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of warehouse and workplace safety practices
• Comfortable working around conveyors, forklifts, production equipment, and other warehouse machinery
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete operational reports and documentation
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as business needs require

Work Environment:

This position requires significant time on the warehouse floor. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with moving machinery, conveyors, forklifts, repetitive processes, and varying temperatures, including hot conditions during the summer months .

Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience
