Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr

The Knapp Warehouse Automation SME is responsible for providing technical subject matter expertise for warehouse automation projects, leading end-to-end deployment, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with global infrastructure standards. The role also involves vendor and stakeholder management, process improvement, and achieving measurable operational efficiencies.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Proven experience with Knapp Warehouse Automation technology.
• 5–8 years of experience in Program Management roles within industrial or supply chain environments.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge, including networking, hardware deployment, and system architecture for automated facilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to transform manual workflows into high-scale automated processes.

Experience:

• Leading large-scale warehouse automation projects.
• System installation, calibration, and optimization for automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Managing cross-functional teams and external vendors for seamless project delivery.
• Process evaluation and gap closure in operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end deployment of warehouse automation projects, ensuring alignment with global infrastructure standards and timelines.
• Act as the primary technical SME for Knapp automation systems.
• Oversee installation, calibration, and optimization of automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Coordinate hardware, networking, and server requirements for high-scale automated warehouse environments.
• Implement process evaluations and close operational gaps using systematic, ISO-aligned frameworks.
• Manage relationships with vendors and internal teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, and Risk Management.

Target Outcomes:

• Scale automated capacity to cover all critical supply chain nodes.
• Reduce operational evaluation and processing times from weeks to hours.
• Deliver 40x cost reductions by replacing manual vendor services with internal automated solutions.
