Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule

• Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating required as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to adult ICU patients across Neuro, Medical, CTICU, Surgical, and Trauma populations
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and post-surgical conditions
• Administer medications, titratable drips, and advanced therapies according to physician orders
• Operate and monitor specialized ICU equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR
• Float to other patient care units as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless holding patients)

Requirements

• Active New York RN License required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• 4-5 years of ICU experience (preferred)
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience in one or more of the following: ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MICU, Neuro ICU
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Strong cardiac/heart experience (highly preferred)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience caring for patients with: Stroke, Sepsis, AMS, Respiratory Failure, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Post-STEMI patients, Cardiogenic Shock
• Experience with: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP Monitoring, Targeted Temperature Management (Arctic Sun)

Pay Package(36hr/week)

• Total Non-taxable Pay (weekly) $1246
• Total Taxable Pay (weekly) $1260
• Gross Total Pay (weekly) $2506
