• Deliver focused individual speech therapy targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Team up with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop coordinated care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to foster improvement beyond the clinic environment.
• Assist with inpatient evaluations and facilitate therapy sessions to maintain a seamless continuum of care.
• Keep precise and timely documentation in accordance with industry standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and peer discussions to remain at the forefront of the field.

Education and Experience

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining.
