As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.23 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, data and equipment spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-related concerns to site leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; follow emergency response procedures and notify appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
