Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor (Fabrication) to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our fabrication processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

1st Shift: Monday - Friday

This is a heavy structural quality control role at a premier fabrication shop in Louisville. More information will be given throughout the interview process. If you have a passion for quality assurance and a knack for leading teams, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the quality control team to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of fabrication processes and finished products.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and provide training on quality standards.
Analyze quality data and prepare reports to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Address and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on production.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality control and fabrication.

Qualifications

Experience in quality control/assurance or a lead welding background, preferably in a fabrication environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with quality control measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
