Specimen Processor I (2nd Shift)

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor I for its Fort Wayne facility to prepare and route laboratory specimens for analysis. The role involves specimen handling, labeling, data entry, and shipping in a second shift setting (3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday plus rotating Saturdays).

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Unpack and route specimens to designated staging areas
Accurately identify, label, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilities
Perform data entry of patient information with accuracy and timeliness
Resolve and document problem specimens and meet production goals

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Microsoft Office experience
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Pass standardized color blindness test
