Summary / Objective

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to support and grow relationships with key retail accounts. The Account Executive will contribute to sales goals, support EBIT targets, and help build mutually profitable partnerships across various channels by executing strategies that align with the TYR brand. This role focuses on increasing brand visibility, supporting sales growth, and maintaining a strong focus on service and profitability.

Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Support the day-to-day management of assigned retail accounts
\n
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with account buying teams and management
\n
• Conduct sales and inventory analysis to help manage product life cycles and identify key trends
\n
• Identify ways to grow existing business and support new sales opportunities
\n
• Collaborate with internal TYR teams including Account Service, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, and Sales Operations to deliver excellent service
\n
• Assist with seasonal product presentations and support sales meetings with clear, strategic communication
\n
• Help ensure strong assortments and experiences across both in-store and digital channels
\n
• Track sales performance and account metrics using vendor portals and sales reports
\n
• Stay informed of account guidelines and ensure accurate execution of distribution strategies
\n
• Maintain positive and productive communication with retail partners
\n
• Collaborate across TYR product categories and channels to support broader business goals
\n
• Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor activity to inform account strategies
\n
• Assist with showroom setup, sample management, and product shipments as needed
\n
• Participate in special projects and adapt to changing business needs
\n
• Travel to accounts and markets to build relationships and gather insights (approx. 1x per month)
\n
• Travel up to 30-40% domestically
\n

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong relationships

• Effective communicator at all organizational levels, both written and verbal
\n
• Experience working with retail accounts and supporting sales goals
\n
• Curious and analytical mindset to ask the right questions and uncover opportunities
\n
• Comfortable using systems and tools to track orders and support operations
\n
• Confident presentation skills to assist in selling, influencing, and storytelling
\n
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Analytical with a working knowledge of key retail metrics like sales, inventory, and gross margin
\n
• Aware of current retail trends and competitive dynamics
\n
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), CRM tools, and comfortable learning new platforms

Education and Experience

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
\n
• 5+ years of sales experience with retail accounts or in a related role
\n
